Not a whole lot more, but definitely a big splash for the same.  New twitter app for iPad gives a good preview of some of these, yet to be released, new features.

But why roll out some simple features thats already available over a period of 2 weeks?  Twitter has been suffering from scalability issues for a while now.  Enabling these features all at once might just add to the pain.  I think this is the main reason for them to put out these features in an incremental manner.
